Sigh, I haven't really been in the mood for historical romance this year. The only one of your list that is kind of on my radar is the Jennifer Ashley and because it's Daniel's book LOL.

Nath: I'm hoping Ashley's Daniel book is good. I was a little disappointed in the last one. And, now he will be older and I won't feel like a pervert.

Have you read Caroline Linden's latest Love and Other Scandals? I just finished it last night...haven't had time to write review...but I really liked it!

Nath: Did you check out the historical romances on the Hey Delia list?

Nath: You know what I do when I want to read a historical but nothing is calling my name? I whip out a really old one that I just loved...sometimes that works and sometimes...yipes.

Have you read any of Candace Proctors old ones, the ones that take place in the Pacific Islands as opposed to the one in New Orleans. I love Beyond Sunrise, Whispers of Heaven, September Moon and if you can find it: Night in Eden. The men in these books are manly men.

Sorry, that's Candice

LOL, that's always a concern when characters are a bit young ^_^;;

I did read Caroline Linden's Love and Other Scandals and loved it as well! :)

I haven't checked our Hey Delia list, but will give it a look... but yeah, in general, just not in the mood. That's something I do as well - not necessarily with a historical book - when I'm in the slump... which seems to be always lately :(

Nope, I haven't read Candice Proctor, but the name sounds familiar... Have to check my TBR pile. Thanks!

Nath: Candice Proctor writes under the name of C.S. Harris now, but her historical books that take place in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand are wonderful. Not so much the ones in New Orleans.
